This launch brings together MatchaChá and MAZ in a collaboration rooted in presence—a space where time expands, each gesture becomes a ritual, and every object honors both process and the beauty that sustains it. Both brands share a vision guided by purpose, conscious creation, and a deep respect for processes that take time.

The collaboration materializes as a ceremonial kit, created to accompany an intimate moment of pause and care. The kit includes:

— A ceremonial matcha set, featuring a whisk, holder, and glass chawan.
— 30 g of ceremonial-grade matcha.
— A MAZ kimono, conceived as a second skin to inhabit the ritual through the body, energy, and intention.

The kimono is crafted in lightweight black taffeta and features a continuous central panel of Chumbe weaving, developed on a horizontal loom, in a matcha green tone. This panel runs along the center front and center back, becoming the visual axis of the garment. Its silhouette draws inspiration from the traditional Japanese kimono, with wide straight sleeves, a midi-to-long length falling between the knee and the ankle, and a subtle front tie closure, maintaining a clean, contemporary expression.

Each element of the kit was chosen to remind us that ritual is not an object, but a way of being: present, conscious, whole.
