Oda Andina
From the mountains was born a sigh that claimed its roots. The Paramo roared its mighty power with a thunder of rain and mist, giving that sigh its deserving place, that walked bravely through the persistent haze.
Descended from the mountain the vital force of the earth, weaving in its wake a legacy of mud and fiber. The wind whistled softly in the savannah and in the mountain. Caressing the Andean skin of its living natives, reminding them of their essence and their magic.
And raising their spirits of sowing and harvesting hands,
between looms and reeds, sounded the cry that claimed for
them their irrefutable part in this territory and in this world.
From their grandmothers THEIR HANDS,
from their soil THEIR ESSENCE,
from their soul THEIR CRAFT,
from their heart THEIR CRAFTSMANSHIP.

Flor de Venus
“To approach life with fresh eyes to FLOURISH”
“Venus Flower” is the celebration of becoming ourselves, the celebration of arriving at our core to feel at peace with our minds, spirits, and bodies. It’s an introspective journey that begins with a powerful and transformative loss, heartbreak, or grief. The kind of process that forces us to shed our old skin, mindsets, and belief systems so we can be reborn as the individuals that we indeed are.
In different cultures, Venus and the Venus Flower represent the feminine mystical energy within us; it also means the power of rebirth, renewal, and love found. It is a flower shape, geometrical figure, made of 8 points; 4 of its points represent the four pillars of human life: Our spiritual life, our self-purpose, our family and loved ones, and the connection with the earth. The other 4 points represent the four cardinal points as metaphors for how we are connected to the universe to be guided and supported, connected to everyone and all.
“Flor de Venus” is a complex yet versatile collection in which we found handmade wool and looms, ancestral technic “chaquira” embroideries, handknitted large volume knits, and architectonic leather pieces.
